What you enter into the calculators
The calculators run entirely in your browser. Ingredient prices, hourly rates, quantities, and every other value you type are processed on your own device and are not transmitted to us or stored on our servers.
Where a tool remembers your work between visits, it uses your browser's local storage. That data stays on your device, is readable only by this site in that browser, and is removed when you clear your browser storage for this site. Using private browsing, or a different browser or device, means nothing carries over.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider processes basic technical information as part of delivering pages to you. This typically includes your IP address, browser type and version, the page requested, the referring page, and the time of the request. It is used to serve the site, keep it secure, and diagnose faults.
Advertising and cookies
The site is supported by advertising and is built to work with Google AdSense. When advertising is active, Google and its partners may set or read cookies and similar identifiers in your browser to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

- We do not send marketing email, and there is no mailing list to join.
Email you send us
If you contact us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to deal with it and to maintain a record of any correction it prompted. We do not use it for anything else, and we do not add you to any list.
Children
The site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to processing, and to data portability. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority. Because we hold very little personal information, in practice most requests concern email correspondence or advertising cookies.
Advertising cookies are best controlled through the browser and the opt-out links above, since those identifiers sit with the ad networks rather than with us. For anything else, email us and we will respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.
Data retention and transfers
We keep email correspondence only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was sent. Technical logs are retained by our hosting provider for a limited period. Service providers we rely on, including hosting and advertising partners, may process data in countries other than yours, subject to their own safeguards.
